Terms of service

DRAFT PLACEHOLDER, pending review by a Texas attorney. These terms are not in effect. FixLine is not yet available for sign-up, and nothing on this site is an offer of service.

Final terms will be written with a Texas-licensed attorney before FixLine opens. They are expected to cover:

• FixLine's role as a software coordinator and record-keeper, not a contractor or property manager. Independent vendors perform and are responsible for the work.
• The owner's responsibility for the property and landlord duties, and for the spending limits they set.
• Life-safety handling: FixLine gives safety instructions and alerts the owner, and never replaces a call to 911 or the utility.
• Text-message consent, STOP and HELP.
• Privacy, data retention, and data requests (see the privacy page).
• Subscription terms for the month-to-month plans shown on the pricing section, cancellations, and refunds.
